The ideal candidate will be someone who can take ownership of services end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to deployment and long-term support.\n\nIn this role, you will:\n\n- Design and develop internal company-wide web applications and services.\n\n- Participate in the creation of solution architecture, from selecting approaches to decomposing services and defining their interactions.\n\n- Build and maintain services running in AWS and Kubernetes-based environments.\n\n- Develop tools and platforms for localization workflows and integrate them with third-party systems.\n\n- Improve the reliability, scalability, and observability of our systems.\n\n- Collaborate with other teams to evolve shared infrastructure and internal platforms.\n\nWe’ll be happy to have you on our team if you have:\n\n- Strong 3- 5 years experience in backend web development using Kotlin or Java.\n\n- Experience with Node.js.\n\n- A solid understanding of modern backend frameworks (e.g. Ktor and Spring).\n\n- Experience designing and building production-grade systems.\n\n- An understanding of distributed-system fundamentals (e.g. networking, fault tolerance, and scalability).\n\n- Experience working with cloud environments (AWS or similar).\n\n- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration.\n\n- The ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.\n\n- A willingness to take ownership of systems in production (including by offering support and assisting with continuous improvement).\n\n- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.\n\nWe would be especially thrilled if you have:\n\n- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform).\n\n- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.\n\n- Experience with observability tools (e.g. metrics, logging, and tracing).\n\n- Practical experience using AI tools or agents in development workflows.\n\nWhy join JetBrains?\n\n- Strong base salary.
